“Thank you so much for the photos, they are wonderful. We have shared them with our friends and family and everyone has been so complementary. You really did take some beautiful shots that captured the atmosphere of the day so well. Thank you.” – Sophie & Andrew

West Sussex wedding photographer

Sophie and Andrew’s Worthing Dome wedding was a double celebration. Sophie had recently given birth to their first child, Max, so their marriage was a real family event – and friends turned up from all over the world.

Although they live in south-east London, the Sussex coast held fond memories of when they first got together more than a decade ago. So when they called to say they’d be having a Worthing Dome wedding I was excited for them because I knew what a stunning building it was, located opposite one of the most elegant piers in Britain.

Worthing Dome wedding

The Grade II-listed Worthing Dome is home to one of the oldest working cinemas in the UK, and the 100-year-old dining rooms and cupola give any wedding a hint of glamour and grandeur. The Georgian, ivy-clad Chatsworth Hotel where Sophie and Andrew stayed along with many of their friends and family, is only two minutes walk from the Worthing Dome and is a charming backdrop on the town’s most beautiful square.

But for me main attraction of a Worthing Dome wedding is being able to sit out on its large first floor terrace and take in the stunning views of the pier and the West Sussex coastline as the sun goes down over the sea.

If you’re looking for a documentary wedding photographer to tell the story of your Worthing Dome wedding, or anywhere else, I’d love you to get in touch.
